My Biography
Nelson began his career leading creative teams at Carrefour East Africa, where he served as a Head of Department until 2023. His leadership in brand development, communication, and operational execution sharpened his expertise in building agile, high-performing organizations.
In August 2023, he transitioned to pursue his MBA at HEC Paris, one of the world’s leading business schools, expanding his focus toward public policy, innovation consulting, and governance reform. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communication and Advertising from Moi University (2017).
Nelson rose to international prominence after exposing and helping halt a controversial infrastructure deal involving the Adani Group and the Kenyan government—an act of courage that earned him the Whistleblower Integrity Action Award 2024 from Transparency International Kenya.
Recognized among the 100 Most Influential Africans of 2024 by New African Magazine and among the 100 Most Influential Kenyans of 2024 by Kenyans.co.ke, Nelson’s work today bridges governance reform, innovation strategy, and public sector transformation.
He mentors early-stage African startups, advises organizations on building ethical, scalable strategies, and leads healthcare technology initiatives aimed at democratizing access to quality services.
Today, Nelson continues to build, mentor, advocate, and advise—championing a future where transparency, innovation, and leadership drive Africa’s next chapter.
